1999 was quite a year for Team Wrong Way. We did like all the corporate giants did in the 90's - we re-engineered, re-structured, re-duced (you choose your "re" word). The new management took TWW to a level it has never before reached. The website was great fun and a great means for keeping mountain bikers involved. And the new color re-energized TWW. It's funny, we became a lean, mean, mountain biking machine - and more people were involved than ever (go figure). We expect the year 2000 to be bigger and better baby! And that's by continuing to RIDE, RACE, and DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO HAVE A GOOD TIME (well, within reason).
The main core group - "The Hub" was a great success. This group will continue to coordinate all TWW activities. Unfortunately, there is still no membership in TWW. However, everyone is encouraged to participate - attend rides, trail maintenance projects, races, trips, social activities, etc. And, anyone can fly our colors. While our focus is on the Bay Area (northern California), we've still got many people across the country who are preaching the gospel. Just remember to bring your sense of humor, because without it, what's the point?!
