What a great weekend. Kirsten, D-Boe, Sterlacci and myself took the 5 hr road trip on Saturday down to Lake Isabella, about an hour NE of Bakersfield. The course consists of two 8 mile loops of nice single track and fireroad with about 1200 feet of climbing per lap.

I couldn't have asked for a better race. Was third going into the first turn, second into the sand pit and then before I knew it in first place after the guy in front of me biffed in the sand. After that I was by myself for the rest of race. Payed close attention to the direction arrows this time and finished 1 of 18 in 1:27:31 (Sport 40+). Just one other thing to say - the F80X ROCKS.

TWW put on a good showing with Kirsten taking first place in the womans sport category, P-Ster took 6th in the Sport 30-39 and D-Boe took 5th in the Beg 30-39. Photos will be posted soon.
