| Best Mountain Biking Experience |
The
TWW Moab trip in April 99 was pretty fantastic. So was Tahoe. Shoot,
1999 was a great MTB experience for me. More recently, the battle at Downieville against Frank Walden I think in 2005. We both did the XC and DH and after lots of schmack and 46 miles later we were separated by only 2 minutes. Great battle! |
| Worst Mountain Biking Experience |
Still
the ride with Wes and Masoud at Nisene Marks (40+ miles after not
being on the bike for 6 weeks). I have never felt so horrible in
my life. |

Women
mountain bikers who wear short lycra shorts and pearls, spending
time with family and friends, cool bike stuff, putting a smile on
people's faces, CrossFit! |
| Dislikes |
Yahoos
on DH bikes that bomb down trails that are heavily used by hikers,
equestrians, other bikers, etc...; dog slobber; riders who ride around
technical sections of the trail, therefore widening it and creating
a total wasteland - just get off your damn bike and walk through
it if you can't ride it!; people who sanitize trails; whiners |

I like
just about everything - and I've tried some strange stuff. Chicken

I won my first 10-speed bike - I think I was 11 or 12 - in the Kellogg's Stick Up For Breakfast contest (of course, I missed the suh-weet Schwinn Varsity from the year before and got the Sears Free Spirit instead). |
| If you could invite three people from
history, who would they be? |
My
mother's parents (never met them - didn't even know I had another
set of grandparents for the longest time), Julius Caesar (the Romans
were studs), Marilyn Monroe (Seven Year Itch - Yeah Baby!). I know,
that's actually four, but I'm counting my grandparents as one. |
