5/7 - G-OUT JUMP PHOTOS POSTED! Sorry, we didn't get a photo of everyone. Some of you were just too fast for our photographer. Our apologies. If anyone has photos out there and would like me to post them, please forward them to me at ginmtb@yahoo.com. Also, if you've got video in either standard VHS or Mini-DV format, I can convert some of it for the site. Contact me at the above e-mail address and we'll work something out.
5/7 - PODIUM PHOTOS POSTED!
5/7 - RESULTS POSTED!!! RESULTS POSTED!!! RESULTS POSTED!!! Fast enough? We got them to you as fast as we could at the race (within 20-30 minutes after your category being completed) and now you can tell your friends to check out the results on our website. More to come in the next few days, including podium photos.
5/1 - $4 PARKING FEE WAIVED DAY OF RACE!!! Two words: suh weet. Just tell the friendly rangers that you're here for the mountain bike downhill race and they'll let you in gratis. If you bring your motorcycle (not permitted in our area during race day), they'll charge you the regular entry fee.
4/30 - ALL UPHILL SECTIONS REMOVED!!!!! We repeat - ALL UPHILL SECTIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED!!!!! Plus, several ramp jumps will be included on race day. One will lead you up to a natural rock jump too! There will be a bail out section for those who don't want to do the jump.
4/20 - Here is a photo of the Mountain Cycle Tremor FR-1 frameset we'll be raffling off. Two words - SUH-WEEEET!!!
Adjustable rear wheel travel - 4.5"-5.5"-6.25". This frameset sports all the latest features any world class race rig should have. Such goodies include our exclusive steering stop system to prevent dual crown fork tubes from hitting the frame, international standard disc brake mounts, replaceable derailleur hangar, sealed cartridge bearings and a Fox Vanilla R shock. We have also designed the Tremor with a low seat tube angle to allow for low, forward dual slalom and downhill seating while also providing for a wide range of free rider positions.
4/13 - MORE PHOTOS OF THE RACE COURSE POSTED!!! These photos were taken on the 80 degree weekend, so the course was dusty. But since then it has rained and likely will rain again before our race - course conditions will change too. It is amazing how the motorcycles change the conditions out there - it is definitely getting rougher. http://www.teamwrongway.com/ggg/photos/ Look for new course markings too!
3/29 - New category added! We listened to what you had to say and added a 45+ men's category. This will be an open class - there will be no breakdown by skill level (in other words, no Beginner, Sport, and Expert - just one category). Based on the Hollister series results and turnout, we feel this will work well.
3/5 - TITLE SPONSOR ADDED!!! Our new best friends at Mountain Cycle have stepped forward to be the title sponsor for our event. We'll raffle off a kick ass Mountain Cycle Tremor frameset!!! Retail value $1199. Don't forget, every entrant gets one raffle ticket with their entry. You will be able to purchase more raffle tickets at the race to increase your chances of winning. Plus, Mountain Cycle has kicked in 10 Pro-deal certificates toward the purchase of one of their schweet bikes!!!
3/5 - Due to a conflict with our friends at the 007 DH race at Bass Lake, we're moving our race date to May 6. Hope this doesn't create any inconveniences, however, we thought that it would be best for everyone for us to make the change. This way you can race at two cool races instead of having to choose just one.
3/1 - the "Wall" has been removed from the course. We don't need no stinkin' uphills!!! See course map and photos in the Info section for updates.
2/28 - Easier access to the feedback page via a button at the bottom of each page - Racers, we want to hear from you!!! Let's get some dialog going. Click on the feedback button below and then go to the link "Add your comments about the TWW DH race". Then view what everyone else is saying by clicking on the "View racer's comments" link.
2/24 - First entry form received!!! I guess this race has to happen now.

2/14 - TWW to award fastest man, woman, and junior a TWW DH jersey (open to amateurs only). See the awards page for details.
2/13 - Race course physically marked!!! Look for small wooden stakes with pink ribbon. A new drop and jump added to the course - you asked for it, so we provided it.
