GGG3 has come and gone (ooh, starting to get weepy). But this is a race we're sure people will be talking about for awhile. Thanks for all the nice comments - it means a lot. We hope you had a great time. We did. We'll keep trying to raise the bar. It's all about the love - the love of mountain biking, racing, and putting on a big-time event. This big-time event wouldn't have happened though without the help of the following (in no particular order - next time you see them make sure you give them a hearty handshake):

Bob "Camel" Lofland

And for course development:

Scott Schlachter, Scott Seery, Pete Rudnick, Robert Ouye, Ken Jeffrey, Joel Northrup, Mike (last name?), and ??? (former TWWer who I think is a regular at the Chabot rides), Frank and Kyle Walden, and Chad Soares, Nick Overthebarsagos, Long-n-naughty, Loren starting-to-tail-me-on-his-fs-bike-on-Thursdays-damnit, Charlie and his guys from Vision Cycles, Scott McGowan and friend, Erik Johnson, Jon Heim, Jerry Brown, Jennifer the-Resource-Ecologist, and probably several others - sorry if you were left off the list.

* 3rd Annual Groovy Gravity Games *

March 30, 2003 - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

You remember this event, right? Even better course - super fast with more turns and jumps (as recommended by you the racer), pretty darn good organization, shuttle ride to the top, quickly posted results, fun atmosphere, jumps, and tons o' schwag. If you didn't attend, well you missed out. But here is your chance to hop on the bandwagon while this thing picks up speed.

Please note - while we are putting on a DH race, Team Wrong Way does not condone reckless DH riding on trails open to the general public (hikers, equestrians, etc.). We have chosen CSRVA as our venue because it is a motorcycle/4WD park - it will have minimal impact on the aforementioned users. Because the park is not utilized by hikers and equestrians, we believe this is an appropriate venue for a DH race. Please respect other trail users, ride in control, and ride on open trails only.
