Mr. Toad and Chinpokemon was joined by McCrakkin and Screaming Eve. We rode along West Cliff drive under a full moon and arrived on Pacific Avenue. It was a mild evening - a fair respite from the rain earlier - and the freaks and hippies were out doing their freaky hippy thang.

German Beer was the theme of the evening at 99 Bottles. This time we all drank the same beers all evening. We were going to finish these cards toe to toe. The first beer we had was a very heavy double bock - 25 Oz!!! It was a little heavy and it sat in my stomach for the rest of the evening. The next few beers were really nice. I can't remember the names of them but McCrakkin is a real conoisuer (sp?) of German beers.

Later we were joined by Stephania and her friend Jane and had a really wonderfull evening conversing and getting a little bent. McCrakkin started to dress up in Stephania clothes and then we whipped out the digital camera.

Alchohol and cameras do not mix (evidence will follow).

The next morning we were feeling a little fuzzy but were were joined by Scott the Gearhead and Pete the Natural. At DeLa, we met up with Alan from MBOSC. It was a gorgeous morning and the trails were surprisingly dry.

Near the "Top Of The World", we came across some kids on big full suspension rigs trying to nail a 15 foot tabletop. It was quite impressive to watch. I wish we had a camera for that one.

Anyway, we cut the ride a little short since Chinpokemon and McCrakkin wanted to catch some football game on TV. Whatever...

It was a great day with some great friends. We also managed to nail 6 checkboxes off our cards. That in itself made it a very sucessfull single speed sunday.
